Milton Union Exempted Village School District
As one of Ohio Ready Schools the elementary is providing a safe and prepared learning environment for all K—5 students. We continue to offer all-day every day kindergarten and are increasing the amount of STEM instructional time for students. We are working with Wright State University to increase the number of problem based learning opportunities for all students.
Middle School students have the opportunity to participate in Spanish 1, 10 fine art electives, 2 HS math options, 20 electives and approximately 45% of the student body are enrolled in accelerated courses.
The class of 2017 received over $1,600,000 in scholarship opportunities and achieved a 92.9% graduation rate. We continue to increase our agriculture and business course opportunities as well as robotics. All eleventh grade students participated in the administration of the SATSAT and as a district we continue to focus on pathways to meet each student’s needs.
*93% of all students in the class of 2018 took the SAT in March of 2017. M-U students out-performed the state and national averages.
